MEET THE ARTIST
Jennifer Sara Baghdoian is a fine art illustrator whose watercolor paintings demonstrate her lifelong passion for creating art by hand with meticulous attention to detail. She holds a BFA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Michigan, Stamps School of Art & Design (Ann Arbor).
To date, the artist has completed 600+ commissioned artworks collected by clients throughout the United States, in addition to being commissioned by The White House / First Lady Melania Trump to illustrate a book, "The Spirit of America, Christmas at The White House 2019."
Jenny was born and resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan with her husband Daniel and three young children—Benjamin, Oliver and Sophie—her greatest creations of all.
ABOUT JENNY PAINTS BY HAND
As far back as anyone can remember, Jenny's had a pencil between the fingers of her left hand and a passion for being creative. In August 2018, after 15+ years as a Digital Marketing Director (for the world’s largest privately-owned art gallery and various other brands), Jenny was laid off at the end of maternity leave with her second child. Coincidentally, her husband had been laid off several months earlier. She immediately needed to find a way to help support her family so she took it as a sign to pursue her lifelong passion to make a living as a full-time professional artist. Nothing makes Jenny happier than creating art for others and experiencing the joy when they see their finished artwork.
