Someday, I'd love to illustrate a cookbook. Until that lifelong dream comes true, I'm turning my sketchbook into a visual diary of my favorite meals, snacks and recipes.

Introducing Dine & Doodle, a new video series where I paint the foods that visually inspire me!

Up first, the original Shield;s Pizzeria in Detroit, Michigan. My family and I dashed through a rainstorm after visiting the Michigan Science Center and ended up at Shield's. Naturally. I had to order their famous Detroit style deep dish pizza (with a side of ranch, of course).
