Tiny Letters, Big Legacy: Painting a Historic Law Office in Nashville

Some buildings just demand a little extra love… and a LOT of tiny bricks.
This summer, I got to tackle a historic Nashville law office where my client’s father and grandfather practiced law for decades. It was a retirement gift, so every brick, every window detail, even the tiny “Mitch Grissim and Associates” logo had to be just right.
Spoiler: there are a lot of bricks.
It’s always special when a painting doubles as a meaningful gift, especially for small business owners who don’t need another inspirational quote calendar cluttering their office. If you’re thinking about honoring a legacy, a storefront portrait might be the perfect way to celebrate it—and yes, I’ll painstakingly paint every brick if that’s what it takes.
